I’m not one to normally apologize for lack of posting, so I won’t.
Day 4 of this possible e-coli sickness has wiped me out so hard. It started 3am Saturday morning in DC, then Amy and I drove to Indiana which took 12 hours instead of 10 because I had to stop so often.
The next morning we flew out of Indiana to Durango (first time I’ve thrown up on a plane) and I sat on the couch for a good while before going to the ER last night.
They pumped me full of fluids 2000/ml (2 liters) to be exact and I still didn’t have to pee. I was feeling some slight pain around my appendix also so we did a CT scan where the technician was a man in his 60’s who was playing the song “Tequila” at 9pm while I was in the tube…what a guy.
After another hour of waiting with my Parents and Amy in the ER, the doctor cleared me to go home…but not without sending home a DIY stool sample kit so they could really see what the heck is going on in my stomach since I didn’t have to go #2 in the ER (stage fright I guess).
So there you have it…on day 4 of whatever this hellacious sickness is with no idea when it’s going to clear up.
(Pedialyte) Cheers
